Notes:
- The CHM format has ToC, index, and full-text-search. I modified the CSS to use black over white color (the new help style has white over black colorsheme). The modified css file can be retrieved from the CHM itself.
Also docbook xsl seemed to be producing invalid index so the resulting index is not grouped by its primary term.Fixed. - The PDF format has ToC and searchable text.
- The DjVu format has ToC and searchable text (created from the PDF format using DjVuLibre)
- I have not tested if the devhelp format works ;) . It’s created from the CHM format using hhconvert (http://htmlhelp.berlios.de).
Thank you for uploading these documents. Unfortunately the links on the 4shared.com site are obscured by pop-up ads from ad-brite, so it is not possible to actually access the files.
Hopefully they can be stored elsewhere.
Yes, thanks so much for creating the CHM in particular. I agree somewhat with ritergal about 4shared, but my advice to her and others is that a program called FreeRapid makes downloading from such sites a snap. However, it would make life easier for those that don’t know about or wish to use FreeRapid, if you uploaded instead to ifile.it. FYI, the 4shared link for the PDF is broken, but the mirror worked OK.
Thanks once again! Do you plan to make a CHM for version 2.6?
2.6 help is still a work in progress, so I think it’s better to wait till it’s released.
Hello! I’ve been following your blog for some time now and finally got the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Dallas Tx! Just wanted to say keep up the excellent work!
